AhlulBayt News Agency: The Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, announced the statistics of the services provided to the visitors of the mid-Sha'ban.
The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have mobilized their efforts for several days to provide various services to the visitors, including: providing rest areas, offering meals, ensuring medical services, as well as organizing special religious activities for this blessed occasion.
Religious and cultural services:
The Secretary-General said: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has been keen on providing comprehensive services to the visitors of the mid of Sha'ban.
He added that the Religious Affairs Department opened 21 preaching sites, established 5 religious platforms, conducted 58 congregational prayers, in addition to officiating 47 marriage contracts, organizing 6 oath-taking sessions, equipping and auditing 25 screen units, producing 20 media materials on electronic platforms, publications, and reels on social media, printing 16,000 copies of Ziyarats and prayers specific to the Ziyarat Sha'ban, and implementing 10 radio and television programs that benefited thousands of visitors.
He pointed out that the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs contributed to providing its services through a cultural station that benefited 3,607 visitors, in addition to a service station that provided its services to 4,192 visitors.
Services for journalists and media institutions:
He explained that the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine provided all the necessary facilities and capabilities through the Media Department to enable channels and media institutions to cover the Ziyarat of mid-Sha'ban. He clarified that the department offered special facilities to media teams and institutions to perform their tasks easily and smoothly. A total of 792 posts were recorded on the holy shrine's social media platforms, 250 artistic and news photos, 79 news articles on the Al-Kafeel Global Network, 52 video reports, and 48 archived materials. Additionally, 45 channels benefited from the live broadcast service (Feed Clean), 31 media badges were issued, 25 designs (carousel + post) were produced, 24 hours of continuous live broadcasting were executed, and 17 audio clips were created. Furthermore, 12 satellite channels and 5 media agencies collaborated.
Medical services:
Aal Dia-Uddin confirmed that the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine paid great attention to medical services during the mid-Sha'ban Ziyarat by deploying medical detachments in various locations. He pointed out that the number of medical detachments deployed this year reached 8, and the number of medical centers was 3. The number of paramedics was 400, distributed across 50 emergency teams, while the number of large and transport ambulances was 18. A total of 522 cases were treated. He noted that the number of beneficiaries of the medical services provided reached 80,324, and the quantity of all types of medicines amounted to 42 tons.
Spreading decorations and flowers:
Aal Dia-Uddin pointed out that the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has been keen to create a special atmosphere in the holy shrine during the blessed Ziyarat, through the perfuming and incense services implemented by the Holy Shrine Care Department. Three perfuming devices were used inside the holy shrine, along with 100 liters of perfumes, 70 grams of incense daily, in addition to providing 10,000 small perfume bottles, natural flowers for the visitors, and 6,000 artificial flowers. Meanwhile, the Holy Shrine Department used five perfuming devices inside the holy shrine, 2,000 grams of incense, and 200 liters of perfumes daily. The Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) Maqam Department distributed 1,500 artificial flowers.
Food and beverage services:
He indicated that the holy shrine provided visitors with 2,410,320 cups of water from the Kafeel's water, 21,000 hot beverages through the Al-Alqami complex, in addition to 2,700 kilograms of sweets. The Sheikh Al-Kulaini complex offered 7,000 main and side meals, and the Al-Alqami complex provided 15,600 main and side meals. Additionally, the service procession from the Religious Affairs Department on Sanatir Street distributed 5,500 pieces of juice and cake.
Mechanical and organizational effort:
Aal Dia-Uddin explained that the blessed Ziyarat Sha'ban witnessed the participation of 252 vehicles of various types to perform multiple tasks, while the number of processions that participated in commemorating the auspicious birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) reached 964 processions. The number of volunteers who participated in providing services to the visitors was 3,876 volunteers.
